Anti-Economist

While dredging the depth of the internet for podcasts I came across Econtalk. I'm interested in the subject so I searched through the different episodes in search of a good topic or speaker. I found one from last March with an interview with Nassim Taleb, writer of The Black Swan (I wanted to underline this but couldn't figure out how to). A friend of mine lent me the book Fooled By Randomness (underline) and fell in love with it. I expected a financial book but found a philosophy book. He has great ideas about unexpected events and living in a world that we are predestined not to understand.

I especially enjoyed his ideas because they resounded with thoughts I've had for a while. Stuff about judging decisions not on the outcome but on the information you had before it was made and whatnot.

But the biggest reason I enjoy listening to his ideas is because he always finds a way to mention Harry Potter(no underline); this podcast was no different.

I'm at Mar's (of course) and I just filled up my buy-a-bunch-of-stuff-and-get-yr-next-one-free cards. Any ideas on what to get? I already have a pot of Peach Blossom Tea (you should try it). I'll probably get a sandwich.

I suppose I should offer up some sort of update on how my "self mission" is going.
Here we go: It's going good!

I've got a lot of new music. Maybe one day when Kelsey is cool I'll give some to her so she can bag herself one of those "liberal boys". Kelsey, the person who just followed this blog is Mimi, my friend from your Holstein class - follow her too!

Look at me and my networking! Well, I just got to Mars and I've got my study material with me so I'm gonna get going on that. Have a good day!
